As a professional wedding photographer based in Jasper National Park, I can confidently say that the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is one of the most picturesque and iconic wedding venues in the area. Originally built in 1922, the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge was constructed as a rustic retreat for weary travelers seeking solace in the great outdoors. Over the years, it has evolved into a luxurious resort that embodies the charm and hospitality of the Canadian Rockies. The Lodge has hosted numerous famous guests, including Queen Elizabeth II and Marilyn Monroe.

The Lodge has a list of approved vendors for catering, event planning, and accommodations. You'll also find our photography team on their preferred vendor list! Alcohol can be included in receptions, but it must be purchased through the lodge's catering service.
CURRENT STATE AFTER THE WILDFIRE
In the wake of the recent wildfire, the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge has shown remarkable resilience and dedication to preserving its charm and natural beauty. While parts of the surrounding wilderness were affected, the Lodge itself remained largely unscathed, thanks to the tireless efforts of firefighting crews and staff. The estate has since undergone careful restoration and continues to offer its guests a stunning backdrop of the Rocky Mountains.
However, the surrounding areas of the property did sustain fire damage. The view across Lac Beauvert has changed, with visible burn scars on the landscape. The once lush fairways of the golf course now show signs of the burn, which is evident in the distance. Despite these changes, nature is beginning its recovery process, and new growth is expected to sprout through the scorched earth in the coming year, bringing a renewed sense of hope and beauty to the area.
